Honestly, don't you wish there are shortcuts of where you truly what to go in life.
Romans 12: 11"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord."
In reality, though we must sow before we reap, not after. I have to remember hard work is not simply a proven way to get ahead but also, it's Father God's plan. In time, let me reap the harvest that is found in your will, Father, for my life. For the best is yet to come under your overflowing love. Let me be diligent in all my undertakings and give me patience to wait for your harvest. Lately, I've been bitter for having 2 jobs but hard work comes a long way. He blessed me for getting another job and best things in life do require heaping helpings of both TIME & WORK.
So, to get rich, to lose weight, or to have everything you wanted can not by overnight....well, unless you won the lottery, right? Chances you might not but if so, just don't forget nothing replaces the value of hard work or labor and how it was under God's plan all along. Just look around you, everyone is working for something whether it's for a career, better job position, a house, a car, a family, or etc. I mean, there is nothing wrong to have goals in life. It's great to have them but life is full of surprises & it is up to you how to make it worthwhile.
I, for one, can't forget who gave me strength, who motivates me, who listens to my troubles, who gave me peace, or who gave me joy through the hardship. Not me, not my 'own' efforts but through his. I must depend on Father God for everything; to just walk by faith, not by sight. Easier said than done. People say "you don't know what the future holds" yet I do know who holds the future for me. You just gotta believe.
