You are forgiven, you are accepted, and yes, you are loved. Honestly, why not just sink this phrase in about what Father God thinks of you and the impact will might just surprise you, the real truth who you are. You must believe you are re-born, you are 100% holy and righteous person. The Bible is not about how you behave or how you live in life. We all know how it is in this world. The Bible is how much God truly loves you. Nothing more. Once you are a believer, it's renewing your mind and looking at yourself and the circumstances from Father God's perspective rather than from man's perspective. It's the response you give from Father God's unconditional love and grace. You chosen to do things out of your heart, not by your guilt.
That's what we need to understand about Father God's love and about ourselves; a kind of relationship based on his love for you. A relationship so strong that he will never judge you and forsake you. Yes, perhaps, you stumble or struggle in life yet it definitely doesn't mean he will stop loving you. For example, you are a parent and your 5 years old child drew flowers with a permanent marker on the white beautiful walls. You let him know it's wrong or it's a mistake and he apologized to you. Just remember punishment and discipline might feel the same to the child but if a parent knows the difference, it comes a long way. Punishment is out of anger, indignation and the goal would be justice as for Discipline is out of love and the goal is benefit and development. With that said, would you:
(A) Forgive him.
(B) Accept him.
(C) Love him.
(D) All the above.
Seriously, I would pick (D). Bob George once said, "Our concept of God's love and grace is an issue that affects every area of our lives, especially our relationships...I have seen all kinds of personal and family problems traced back to a faulty understanding of God's love."
