We are living in a world that glorifies power, prestige, fame, and money. Yet, I believe Jesus taught us to be the humblest servants, not to become self-congratulatory leaders. A lot of people don't understand that pride can turn out to be so vile. May the feel of that practical temptation not build up in me. May I serve "my neighbors quietly or when they need a helping hand, I do it anonymously. I should share a word of kindness...with quite sincerity." Jesus himself was a servant and became a truly honorable example for his followers.
Romans: 15: 2-3: "Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. 3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."

Nice blog Vaul. Short and simple! Jesus also talks about, letting our works be seen by God and not men, on the Sermon on the Mount also.
Good job on being Christ like, now you need to grow a beard! :)
Thanks, Phil...lol I shall not grow a beard, it won't look attractive on me.
