It's hard to face it but honestly, we have our faults and our own problems. We have our accusers and embarrassed to go on day by day with a smile. We have our days but you can't forget who is in you, who is your identity in this world. I think it's different when you have a personal relationship with God. You discover so many things about who you are and what you are according to him. In God's eyes, are you righteous and holy? When you are in Christ, we are righteous and holy. That's it. Nothing to it. Nothing more.
Remember when the Pharisees brought the woman caught in adultery to Jesus and they wanted her be condemned for her sin (John 8:4-9/NIV). Jesus told them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." No one came forward and everyone was completely and utterly muffled in the Temple. Obviously, the only one standing was Jesus. Did Jesus condemn her? No way!!!! His grace came upon the woman. In John 8:10-11 (NIV), "Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
That's just so amazing and that's how much love he has for us. He is the kindest, most gracious, and forgiving One. God brought his son into the world not to condemn us but he came to save us!
