I noticed that the closer and deeper of a relationship with God, the harder it can be. I mean honestly, God will not remove all problems from your life. In fact, it could bring a series of personal crises as you continually seek to say "yes" to God. However, the world will encourages you to do otherwise. This world will snare your attention to lead you astray from God. It would be totally up to you to resist these so-called temptations. Of course throughout the path to God, I have encountered many opportunities to say "yes" and "no" to God. Obviously, you have to answer carefully...absolutely carefully. It does determine how you value your time in your everyday life. For me, it is an extreme journey with him and I always keep in mind, things will turn out right when following him. Patience and Trust comes to play.
James
17But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
(Happy Birthday, Dad! May God shower you with many blessings this year.)
